Kopp's Frozen Custard Stand

Don’t know why, the burgers use to be the best, best buns. Now I just left there, burger was dry, 1/4 of the size it use to be, the bun has changed it’s bigger and too much of course with a dry small burger..... terrible. I will say the custard was the same ,delicious. I don’t know why you would change...

I have tried 3 times since they got new buns. Very disappointed with the burgers. Came here for many years. It's like going to a different place. The buns are very thick and very dry. 😩No butter on the bun. I had to take the top bun off to eat it. Meat quality is not there either anymore. Custard is excellent. Better fix burgers or people will stop coming. I won't be returning until then.

I think they have THE BEST burgers and custard around! My opinion of course. Cheeseburger, onion rings, and a chocolate malt, can't go wrong!! Seems like this place is busy all the time, but it goes quickly to pick your food up once you order. Highly recommended !

Best custard in Wisconsin. Had the special of the day, Turtle sundae. They use salted nuts which mix with the creamiest custard. Portions are large. I like a waffle cone and my husband likes a dish. Both are quite satisfying.

Love the variety of custard. We picked up the Grasshopper fudge, cookies and cream, chocolate, and turtle and brought it to Michigan for Thanksgiving. It was DEVOURED! Best creamy and smooth custard you can find in greater Milwaukee area!

Food was hot and fresh as usual. My go to meal is a grilled chicken sandwich w/ a side of fries and a banana milkshake.

We love the custard, but the facility needs an upgrade, and some attention to housekeeping. My son and I stopped for a shake and onion rings. We wanted to sit in the restaurant to eat, but every table was dirty. The disconcerting part of this is that there were several people behind the counter who could have spent a little time cleaning.Also, the parents of small children could use a hanging changing table in the restrooms.

We got 10 flavors of frozen custard shipped to us from Kopps! It was delicious and still creamy after being sent across the states. Most of the fillings were very generous. I wish the cookies and cream had larger and more cookie chunks like the cookie dough flavor. We also made Thin Mint dessert with a frozen thin mint, a scoop of Mint Chip, and then drizzled it with hot fudge. If you’re taking a pint home, try this!!Definitely get the hot fudge. It’s amazing.

Great place! Three spotless locations. All of which consistently serve delicious burgers, fries, onion rings, etc. And then you finish your visit with one of their incredible frozen custards. (Check their flavor forecast to see which two flavors are featured each day.) Sometimes I'm glad I live 50+ miles away, or I'd weigh 300 pounds!

You haven't had Frozen Custard if you haven't had it from Kopp's. Food is good, but the Custard is where it's at. Good service, seating is not great but worth it.

Was at this location on Mother’s Day. Employees not wearing masks, no plexiglass guards and many customers not wearing masks. Attempts made by some customers to social distance. Waited quite awhile for order. Very disappointed in Milwaukee icon! Not going back anytime soon.

Great Wisconsin place for burgers and frozen custard. I have always received fresh food and good service. In my opinion one of the better burgers in Wisconsin.

Average burgers/fries/grilled cheese. Onion rings are actually pretty good. But all that said and done, the thing everyone goes there for (the Frozen Custard) is great and what gets then 5 starts. Super rich, creamy and smooth and have different flavors on different days, though some are better than others.

A very nice burger. But let's face it, it's all about the custard, and Kopp's does it as well as anyone.

It's impossible to not love Kopp's. Their burgers are great, but I feel their real prize is the plain chicken sandwich. The chicken patty is perfectly seasoned with simple butter and pepper, and when garnished with a pickle, it's the perfect meal. Enjoy a nice helping of custard on the way out, and you've got calories well spent.

The absolute worst burger I’ve ever hadGreasy mess that had only flavor of the ketchup and mustard. Big gross mess along with a cold environment .... not sure how it is so “ iconic”The 3 pcs of bacon were uncooked and dripping with grease. Disgusting

I ordered 6 single dishes on line, and when I came to pick it up. all the dishes were melted. That is $18 down the drain. I mean how stupid are they, put it in the freezer where they keep the pints, and gallons. It is just incompetence by the employees. This was the Blue mound Ave Kopps. DON"T ORDER ONLINE AT KOPPS BLUEMOUND, unless you want a bad experience.

Good food. Would have given this restaurant a higher rating of only they would have more tables inside. Instead, you have to sit on benches to eat your food. Hopefully, the management takes this into consideration.

I ordered Frozen Custard i got a milkshake in a cone. Tastes ok but not worth the line or mess.

The custard was good. We had the flavors of the day. The hamburgers are huge, but nothing to write home about in flavor.

Kopps has been a part of my life for 50yrs. Ive always put them on the top over everyone until about 3mos ago I noticed a difference in the burgers. First it was the bun being thicker with more bread to it. Then the burger itself was dry . Not what it used to be unfortunately. Not on top anymore.

They have the best hamburgers, cheeseburgers and custard in or out of state. I highly recommend it if your hamburger or custard lover. Oh and their onion rings are awesome as well. Their food is great no matter what you get. Always a place I love to stop at. Too bad they only have three locations in Wisconsin.

The service was fast, the employees helpful and friendly, and the tiramisu custard was amazing. They don't skimp on the serving sizes. I got the "one scoop" serving which was about 1.25 cups of rich and flavorful custard. Will definitely return for more.

I went there to wisconsin to see my step grandma and her son mark for christmas in milwaukee and i live in missouri and we went out to eat here at koops ice cream and some food too and it was really good the burgers were really huge bigger than a mcdonalds burger wow i couldn't imagine how big it was anyway it was really good food

My family is originally from Milwaukee, and every time we visit, we will typically make a few stops at Kopp's Frozen Custard during our trip. Arguably the best frozen custard in the entire country, if you're in town it is absolutely a must stop. Grab a burger and fries, or a chicken caliente, but don't leave without a cone topped with the flavor of the day or their awesome vanilla. All three of their locations are 👍!

Some of the best burgers you'll ever have. The ice cream/deserts are fantastic too. Prices are phenomenal. Highly recommend

We stopped in this past Saturday and had your chicken sandwiches and they are very good. The only problem I had seen is your American Flag that is flying in your parking lot is a disgrace.

Friday in Lent - Fish sandwich with cheese, pickles & extra tartar sauce ... and a black cow. Delicious! Definitely the best fast-food fish sandwich around. Always spotlessly clean ... which is important to me as a immunodeficient lung transplant recipient ... especially important with the COVID18 pandemic.

Always my favorite place to go for ice cream and quick food. The service is always friendly and there are a wide range of menu options from chicken sandwiches to burgers and so much more. They also have amazing custard, offering many toppings and two featured flavors of the day. The prices are very reasonable too. A great place for people of all ages and a popular spot after any sporting event. Definitely will keep coming back!

Usually kopps is good but not today. First I should have checked my order to see if my burger was made correctly....it wasn't. I ordered a burger with grilled onions and extra butter ...it came with ketchup and no onions no pickles. I should have checked. I didn't. When I called to tell them they said it have to bring back the whole order to check it INCLUDING the shakes fries and ice cream just to get it fixed. Very disappointed. Never AGAIN.

The choices of comfort food is wonderful and you can't duplicate the awesome flavors and tastes of the food. I've been enjoying there scrumptious food since I was a very young child. Try it you will like it.

The tastiest custard in town and the food menu is terrific. Generous portions and I love the crispy onion rings and fries! Plus the staff is super friendly and efficient!

Disappointed to see how many people there are with no masks or protection when getting ice cream. Not sure if employees are following protocol but customers are definitely not. Please make this a requirement for all customers.

I love this retail custard stand in any of their multiple locations around the Milwaukee area. Each is designed with a different atmosphere. Waterfall walls (Southside), "A" frame feeling (NWest side) to flowers and layered stones (NEast side) but ALL have the BEST REAL Custard with daily flavors And GIANT burgers for a real treat. Traditional levels of top service, fast hot and cold treats at fair prices. Kopp's is a year around favorite.

Not only can you get some of the areas best custard, and decadent flavors, you can also get some of the best and biggest burgers you have ever seen. Along with fries or onion rings, a truly great place for a quick bite.

I am not a hamburger-person but this was the BEST burger I have ever had! It was so delicious and really big, I want another one ASAP! Good french fries, good-but-k no itching-great chicken sandwich (go for the burger- you will not regret it!!). The frozen custard is Phenomenal! I am both sad and thankfully I don’t live by a Kopp’s because I would want to eat there way too often!

If you like sweet and salty, make sure you ask for whole peanuts in your sundae. Game changer! The staff is always polite and friendly. Location is easy to get in and out of quickly. Go!

Kopp's is about 30 miles from my home, so for a real treat, my friend and I wanted a burger. Burgers were great, fries - crispy, hot, and so delicious. I wanted turtle custard, but with the fries, I was too full.

A destination for a great burger. The Onion rings are to die for and the custard is hands down the best around!!

Yummy custard. The daily specials are wonderful. Some places add too much mixings into their daily custards, I would say Kopp's do it just right. The food is also very good here. Try the burgers, you will not be disappointed.

Just super smooth and delicious custard!! Awesome fudge delight sundae too big for one person, but ate it all!
